The Whole in the Barrel is a whiskey and wine bar located in an adaptive re-use mill in Greensboro, NC. Revolution Mills has spaces that are rented out to local businesses ranging from coffee shops to small law firms and even loft apartments.

Revolution Mills calls for a space that allows workers and tenants to leave their space and relax. Whole in the Barrel is perfect for the campus because it has two entrances, one easy access to workers from other parts of the building and a public entrance for people who don’t live on the campus. Design choices were made to reflect the history and the change that the mill is going through, showing a refined palette that combines the old with the new.
